The Malecon in Mazatlán is the world's longest oceanfront boardwalk, stretching over 21 kilometers. It is divided into nine sections that run from the historic downtown area to the north of the city. Each year, thousands of people visit the Malecon to enjoy the nearby beaches or to unwind with a drink while marveling at the stunning Mazatlán sunset.

Mazatlán boasts one of the oldest and most significant high ports along the Mexican Pacific coast. As is the case with any port, it has its very own lighthouse, aptly named the Mazatlán Lighthouse. Situated atop the former island of El Creston, this unique blend of history and nature represents a cherished heritage for all Mazatlecos and serves as a symbol of pride for Sinaloa across the globe.

The Observatory, perched atop Cerro del Vigía at a height of 75 meters above sea level, was first built by the people of Mazatlán as a military observation post, which is why the hill it sits on is called Cerro del Vigía. Its strategic location and complete view of the landscape allowed it to protect the city from frequent attacks by enemy and pirate vessels. In 1873, it was converted into a meteorological and seismological center, and during the era of Porfirio Diaz, it became one of the two most important observatories in the entire country. This building is an important part of Mazatlán's history and heritage, and is definitely worth visiting.
